Lata Education Society
Dr Mandar Taru, founder president, envisaged the cause of free and non-conventional education to young people of this great nation.
And as the name suggest we are primarily focused on “education”, and that to non-conventional education.
We have incepted this organization in March, of 2002.
Vision since we started, to “create a society where every individual has access to quality education, enabling them to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities,” & “to provide accessible and holistic education programs, particularly to marginalized communities, through innovative teaching methods and community engagement to empower individuals and foster social change.”
As a part of it, we have help Anganvadi or shelter schools, to grow by focusing on malnutrition, and health of kids attending Anganvadis.
We may be the only NGO, even after 20 years have not accepted single rupee donation.
Our motto education for all and to remove all obstacles in path of good education, our camps and awareness programs against tobacco have inspired lot of students to never get the habit.
Health- care should be free to one and all, it should be a state responsibility, but when there is gross inequality, we need to step in, various camps by our organization to provide health care are testimony of it.
We have held blood donation camps, eye donation awareness camps in schools and colleges, as a part of social responsibility and accountability, to the society in which we live.

About Us
Very soon we will be completing 25 years of establishment, we have lost some key former directors, who have helped us grow, some are not keeping fit, but still, we are growing an going strong with the new ones.
We have seen some of the worst phases in human history, we saw the unprecedented lock down in covid, crises, were health care and basic resources were scares and valuable, but We are proud that we kept our word and serve as per our vision.
We helped people pay school tuition fess conducted online classes for poor and needy, indeed we came strong out of the pandemic.
And now with renewed vigor we will build schools, hospitals and educational institutes not alone but with your help and blessings

FUTURE VISION
Rupees Ten Clinic
A dream project we have discus and dreamt of since last 5 years, to contemplate rising cost of medical expenses, a rupee, ten clinic chain, were consultation and diagnosis will be done in rupees ten only.
Shri D. M. Taru memorial eye clinic
A dedicated eye care hospital where eye surgeries will be done at a very competitive price and eye correction glasses will be provided free.
150 Bedded Rural hospital
A rural cancer hospital some 40 kilometers from Pune, where state of art facilities will be free, no charges for bed occupancy and surgeries a very low cost.
Free to all nursing and paramedical college.
A paramedical institute were the kids of poor will get free admissions and no fees will be charged.
